Belgium boss Roberto Martinez makes three changes to his team from their fortunate 1-0 win over Canada. Meunier, Onana and Thogarn Hazard come into the first eleven. While for Morocco, they kept faith with the same first eleven that started their solid draw with Croatia. Mazraoui is fit to start the game after going off the last game on a stretcher.

In the opening 4th minutes, Michy Batshuayi went close for the Red Devils but brought a brilliant save out of Monir El Kajoui. In 19 minutes, Belgium controlled the game with 76% of its possessions.

Near the end of the first half, Hakim Ziyech got chopped down by Thorgan Hazard. They got a free kick as the officials gave 1-minute extra time. Hakim Ziyech took the free kick and made a goal, but VAR suspected it was an offside goal. Referee Cesar Arturo went and checked the VAR himself and declared it was an offside goal. The score remains 0-0, which was the last Action in the first half.

Morocco starts the second half with confidence getting their win away if Belgium stays subpar. Both teams are looking very energetic, with tackles flying in, and neither team can control the midfield properly.

Morocco’s Attiat-Allah powers toward the corner and draws a clumsy foul from Thomas Meunier. Then, Abdelhamid Sabiri gives the lead with a goal like Hakim Ziyech earlier later. Again, the North Africans crowd out Thibaut Cortouis, but there is no offside this time. Morocco 1, Belgium 0.

The referee gave three extra minutes. The North African seals the victory in stoppage time when Hakim Ziyech sent the ball into the substitute Zakaria Aboukhlal to thrash an effort into the net, making Morocco 2, Belgium 1.

The game ended. This win means Morocco has 4 points ahead of Belgium by 3 points.
