Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunka Mahkota of Johor (TMJ) owner of Johor Darul Ta’Zim FC confirmed that a striker have been play in Serie A Italy will with the team in Malaysia Super League season 2022.
The response is based on responses to tweets from several Twitter users and independent football commentators @juanbudiman and @MarcoNegeri who often give the latest updates on the JDT and have tweet replies from TMJ
In Malaysia Super League season 2021 JDT have Bergson da Silva, Leandro Velasquez, Gonzalo Cabrera, Shawn Lowry and Mauricio dos Santos as foreign players. But however Benjamin Mora head coach JDT want new foreing player in striker position for replace Gonzalo Cabrera after him left from the team after end of season 2021
JDT is one of the clubs in Malaysia that has former players have played in Italy such as Luciano Figueroa (Genoa), Simone del Nero (Lazio), and Mauricio dos Santos (Lazio).
