Selangor FC has announced the appointment of Nidzam Jamil, assistant head coach, to acting head coach in the season 2024/25, replacing Tan Cheng Hoe, who move to be head coach of Police Tero FC.
Nidzam has been working in the position of assistant coach of Selangor FC since 2020 in the era of coach B.Sathianathan, Karsten Neitzel, Michael Feichtenbeiner, and Tan Cheng Hoe and have been acting as interim head coach in 2022 after Feichtenbeiner out.
Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon, Chief Executive Officer of SFC said, “We have made a detailed and collective assessment, and based on the ability that Nidzam has shown us while he served as Assistant Head Coach for the previous seasons. Nidzam has extensive experience in the Malaysian football scene, understands the culture and direction of the club and knows the SFC players very well. For us, he is the right person to fill this position and is capable of leading us to overcome the challenges that SFC will face for the 2024/25 season.”
