recently The Nam Tu Lium People’s Court, Hanoi opened a trial involving the My Dinh National Stadium against the plaintiff, Hai Yen Co.,ltd, suing the Vietnam National Sports Complex Co.,ltd after having debt settlement, In the details of the consideration, it was found that
- Vietnam National Sports Complex Co.,ltd It has two debts totaling VND895 billion(RM 173.58 million), Which one is owed to tax authorities, the other owed to private equity.
- Vietnam National Sports Complex Co.,ltd cannot pay off debt. Bad debt is incurred each month amounting to nearly VND 11.6 billion (RM 2.24 million), but the stadium’s full monthly revenue is just VND 2.5 billion (RM 484,869).
It is expected that If the complex still can’t make money to pay off the debt. And the court has ruled that the two creditors have joint ownership. VFF may not be able to lease the My Dinh stadium for the Vietnam national team to use in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022.
