Malaysian Football League (MFL) has announced confirm FInal match of TM Piala Malaysia 2022 will play at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur on 26 November.
The selection of SNBJ, which is considered the most suitable neutral venue for the organization of the 96th edition of the TM Malaysia Cup final, was made based on several factors, namely the condition of the field, stadium capacity, broadcasting, access to public transport, facilities and ample space for sponsor activities as well as the comfort and safety of spectators. .
For that purpose, the Malaysian Football League (MFL) has conducted a survey and inspection of the condition of the field and facilities at SNBJ together with representatives of the Malaysian Stadium Corporation (PSM) today.
The results of the inspection and feedback from the PSM found that the SNBJ field is in good condition and that the process of careful maintenance will continue to be carried out in the run-up to the final.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of MFL, Stuart Ramalingam, his side is grateful to PSM who are ready to cooperate once again after the successful organization of the FA Cup final on 10 September 2022 at SNBJ.
“It is certain that for the MFL we are happy to organize the TM Malaysia Cup final at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium after the FA Cup final which went smoothly and was lively with an attendance of over 84,000 supporters. So we expect the same response for the TM Malaysia Cup final later.” CEO of MFL said.
“We are also aware that the Bukit Jalil National Stadium is a stadium that can accommodate a large capacity of supporters with the best facilities so we believe this will provide comfort and safety for the supporters present.”
“Apart from that, it is certain that the quality of the pitch is also emphasized and I believe that with PSM’s experience in handling the final before, they will make thorough preparations in terms of field maintenance ahead of the final on November 26,”
In addition, Stuart also announced that the ticket price for the match will also remain the same as the FA Cup final during the day, with General Admission priced at RM50 and RM70, Premium Grandstand RM150 and VIP Grandstand RM200.
“The MFL decided to maintain the ticket prices for the TM Malaysia Cup final taking into account the successful organization of the 2022 FA Cup final where the response shown by the fans who came to the stadium was great,” added Stuart Ramalingam.
“I believe that with the setting of four ‘tiers’ of ticket prices, this will give more choice for supporters of both finalist teams who want to come to the stadium to witness the highlight of the TM Malaysia Cup this time.”
“For this final ticket sales process, it will be determined by the finalist teams as it was done before because in this way, the tickets that have been allocated to each club can be bought by their supporters equally and fairly,”
