Steve Derby, former English head coach of Johor FA and Perak FA, suggested to Vietnam Football Federation(VFF) to select Kiatisuk Senamuang, head coach of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, to replace the new head coach of Vietnam National team.
Vietnam national team just announced the termination of Park Hang-Seo South Korean head coach after the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 due to two parties agreeing to a not extended contract which will expire on 31 January 2023.
“I think Kiatisuk can replace Park Hang-Seo, he understands the Vietnamese football environment very well. I have experience in teaching with Hong Anh Yalai.” Steve said.
“He knows the Vietnamese players deeply. Most importantly, Coach Zico also has experience in coaching the Thailand national team.”
