Malaysian Football League (MFL) has confirmed Perak Stadium, Ipoh can still be used ahead of the Super League action between Perak FC and Kedah Darul Aman this Saturday.
In the last week, have several photos of the condition of the Perak Stadium floodlight cable box, Ipoh after the theft went viral on social media, thus causing anxiety among Perak FC fans who were worried about having to watch a match involving their favorite team in the afternoon.
“It is true that there was a theft of overhead light wires but it only involved one pole and the repair process is being done at the local level.” Stuart Ramalingam, Chief Executive Officer of MFL said.
“Based on the information I received yesterday, the repair process is likely to be completed before the match against Kedah later.”
“We will receive the latest information tomorrow to ensure it can be used this Saturday.”
“We also have some other proposals but I cannot speculate at this time, but the priority is to ensure that the match can be carried out based on the existing schedule,”
