KL Rovers have letter to explain to Football Association of Malaysia(FAM) for intend to join the Singapore League in the 2024 season.
At the morning today, Malaysia Football League (MFL) announced that the 14th Super League slot will belong to Perlis United.
Through a letter that went viral on social media, KL Rovers requested support from the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to facilitate the process of joining the Singapore League.
“We are confident that after being runner-up in the MBSB Bank Championship League for two years in a row, we are qualified to compete in the league and further enhance the name of the country.” KL Rovers said in letter.
“Our side is very pleased that our wish is supported by FAM in the hope that it can provide more opportunities for local talents to highlight their potential in the foreign league,”
The last time a team from Malaysia played in the Singapore League was during the Harimau Muda squad as a result of a cooperation agreement between FAM and the Singapore Football Association (FAS).
