Kim Pan-gon, head coach of Malaysia national team, apologized to the supporters after losing to Jordan national team 0-4 in the AFC Asian Cup 2023, Group Stage, Group E.
Pan-gon, explained that his players had tried their best before having to accept the greatness of the Jordan.
“Congratulations to Jordan. They performed well. For us, I apologize to all Malaysians who always support us.” Pan-gon said in the post-match press conference.
“We tried to give our best, but unfortunately, we didn’t succeed; I apologize for that. There are still two more games (in Group E), and we have to look ahead,”
“It’s a good start for us for the 2023 Asian Cup, but there are still two games to go in Group E,”
“We want a child who will be firmly and strongly resistant against Jordan. But we couldn’t.”
“I feel sorry about that. But it will be difficult to recover. We have a lot to take. We must resolve this mistake. I think we will look forward to it.”
