International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) called on the Saudi Arabia Football Federation(SAFF) to prevent Al Nassr, club in the Saudi Pro League from registering any local player 3 rounds of the transfer window for not implementing the decision of the International Dispute Settlement Chamber.
The penalty comes as Al-Nassr failed to pay an ‘Add-ons fee’ to Leicester City when they signed Ahmed Musa in 2018 for £14 million (RM8.4 million). Which clause stipulates that if Ahmed Musa makes more than 40 appearances and wins the title, Al-Nassr will have to pay Leicester City £390,000(RM2.34 million).
This came according to a letter from FIFA, a copy of which was published by the Saudi newspaper, Al-Riyadiah, in its issue issued today(12 July),
However, Now Al Nassr confirmed that the amount will be paid to the Leicester City administration, which in turn will lift the penalty upon payment within the next two weeks.
