Thailand U19 national team emerged as first spot of the finalist after beating Australia U19 national team scoring 1-0 in the ASEAN U19 Boys Championship 2024 Semi-final at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya.
Thailand got an early advantage thanks to a mistake by the Australian goalkeeper, Peraic-Cullen, in the 13th minute, who failed to hold onto the ball, allowing it to roll into the goal.
Despite Australia’s efforts to equalize, Thailand continued to dominate the match, even when reduced to 10 players.
The six minutes of added time did not change the result, and the match ended with Thailand securing their spot in the final.
Thailand will face either Indonesia or Malaysia in the final on July 29, 2024.
