Indonesia U19 national team secured semi-finalist after beating Timor-Leste U19 national team scoring 6-2 in the ASEAN U19 Boys Championship 2024 Group Stage, Group A at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya.
Indonesia opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Jens Raven headed in a corner kick from Kafiatur Rizky. However, Timor-Leste equalized with a penalty kick after Indonesian defender Alexandro Felix Kamuru committed a foul. Ricardo Rorinho Dos Santos Bianco successfully converted the penalty to make it 1-1.
Three minutes later, Jens Raven scored his second goal, again assisted by Kafiatur Rizky, putting Indonesia back in the lead. Garuda Nusantara extended their lead to 3-1 just before halftime, in the 45+2 minute, when a long-range shot by Figo Dennis hit the crossbar and bounced off Timor-Leste goalkeeper Alexandre Oscar Lima Quintao into the net.
Six minutes into the second half, Indonesia made it 4-1 with a goal by Kadek Arel Priyatna, who completed a hat-trick of assists for Kafiatur Rizky. Arkhan Kaka, who replaced Muhammad Ragil at the break, scored Indonesia’s fifth goal in the 53rd minute after receiving a pass from Jens Raven.
Kafiatur Rizky, after providing three assists, scored Indonesia’s sixth goal in the 57th minute, putting his name on the scoreboard. Timor-Leste managed to score a consolation goal in the 86th minute through Alexandro Bahkito Corsino Lemos, making the final score 6-2 in favor of Indonesia.
