Indonesia started the match slowly, with not many dangerous opportunities created by I Putu Panji and his teammates early on. The breakthrough came in the 45th minute when Zahaby Gholy capitalized on a through ball from midfield, easily defeating the Vietnamese goalkeeper to score the first goal.
In the third minute of injury time in the second half, Dafa Zaidan scored Indonesia’s second goal with a deceptive shot from outside the penalty box.
In the 67th minute, Evandra Florasta had a close-range chance, but his shot was deflected by a Vietnamese defender and went wide. Vietnam’s midfielder Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc attempted a long-range shot in the 70th minute, but Indonesian goalkeeper Dafa Al Gasemi was alert and blocked the ball.

The match ended with a dominant 5-0 victory for the Indonesian U16 national team, securing their third-place finish in the tournament.
