Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) collaboration with the Malaysian Football League (MFL) as the broadcaster of the Malaysia League 2022.
Continuing with RTM’s previous collaboration with the Malaysian Football League (MFL) and TM in organizing the Malaysia Football League 2021, the three parties agreed to continue their cooperation for 2022 by forging an understanding that makes RTM a unifi Broadcasting Partner for Football Malaysia League 2022 witnessed symbolically by the Minister of Communications and Multimedia, YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima TPr Annuar Haji Musa.
The collaboration formed is one of RTM’s main goals in playing a role in implementing its social responsibility, as the Co-Host of a government-owned non-pay station, or Free to Air (FTA) to provide free broadcasts to all Malaysians, especially to those who do not have access to paid broadcasts. or pay per view channels.
Live viewing is broadcast by RTM on three platforms, such as TV1, TV Okey and TV Sukan RTM on RTM Klik.
The Malaysia League campaign for the 2022 season will begin on February 26 with the kick-off of the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup match which saw a meeting between the Super League champions, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) and the TM Malaysia Cup champions, Kuala Lumpur City FC.
This year’s variation saw the match format of the Contribution Match return to its former state, which is known as the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup and is not counted as part of the league match.
RTM will broadcast 44 league matches including the Super League which will be broadcast from March 4, 2022, the FA Cup and the Malaysia Cup, but it is subject to any changes from time to time.
