Tomislav Steinbruckner, head coach of Terengganu FC hinted that two players, Ivan Mamut, and Adisak Kraisorn, will be dropped to give a chance to the reserve striker, Jordan Mintah, who is with TFC II to play in the next match. After still can’t score a goal.
Terengganu FC clearly has a problem with the offensive game. After becoming the only team in the Liga Super Malaysia at the moment that hasn’t scored from 3 matches played and having only 1 point, dropping to the bottom of the table.
“I’m not satisfied with only collecting one point from this match after many chances, unfortunately, no goals resulted in 270 minutes. It’s quite worrying.” Tomi said.
“They (Adisak and Mamut) also didn’t get help until Sony (Norde) and Syafik (Ismail) changed positions, then there was a quality pass from the wing.”
“What was shown during the training session was quite good but come match day, it was not what we expected,”
“I have to think about Jordan (Mintah) seriously because Adidak and Ivan Mamut still haven’t scored.”
“Adisak missed a few chances but sometimes this is good for the players because they managed to put themselves in a position to create opportunities,”
Jordan Mintah, a Ghanaian striker has just backed into the team for the season 2023 after spending last season on loan at Kuala Lumpur City. But at the moment he is sent down to play with Terengganu FC II(U23 squad) in Piala MFL.
