Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim(TMJ), owner of Johor Darul Ta’Zim, said with ‘Keluar Sekejap’ podcast on YouTube last night, admitted that the presence of this group of supporters created a sense of competition and thus made His Majesty want to continue to achieve many successes with JDT.
“Honestly, what keeps me motivated are my competitors, the supporters who are less knowledgeable because when they are perceived as enemies, I want to make sure they are disappointed.”
“That’s my attitude, and if you’re an enemy, we want to beat you every year. If it wasn’t for this group of supporters called haters, I think I’d be out of football for a long time.”
“Those who always disparage my JDT project, because of them, I still have a sense of competition to do more. So they motivate me a lot,”
“I just want to win, and I don’t like to lose. I want to do my best, and every time I do my best, I think it’s a great achievement.”
“I can show them (the haters), see where I am now, see where my club is now, what achievements we have.”
“Things like this keep the spirit burning. I always want to be better and improve,”
