With this announcement, FAM hoped that it would explain to the public that the FAM has already taken necessary actions and punishments for the offence of burning and lighting flares in the Stadium of Sultan Ibrahim by the JDT Fans. The FAM Code of Discipline still enforces the violation of burning and lighting flares.
FAM added that it is now a practice for the FAM Disciplinary Committee not to make any media statements after the decision.
