Laos Football Federation bids farewell to Michael Weiss, German head coach from the position of Laos national team head coach after no longer the contract.
Michael Weiss has been appointed to be the head coach of the Laos national team in the main squad, and U23, and U19 squad since 2022 and made history pass to the semi-final in AFF U23 Championship 2022 at Cambodia for the first time.
“On behalf of the Lao National Football Federation, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Michael Weiss, the coach of the Laos national team, who has done a great job for the Laos national football team to have a remarkable performance in the regional and international arena, especially leading the Laos U19 national team to become the runner-up in 2022.”
“Throughout the past period, Mr. Michael Weiss has been responsible for overseeing the Lao national team for each generation with pride and showing his true love for Laos athletes.”
“Even though the agenda of controlling the Lao national team is over, I really hope that the relationship between the Lao National Football Federation and Mr. Michael Weiss will continue forever.”
