Race 3 of the weekend at Mandalika was nothing short of chaos, with yellow flags flying across the circuit and drama unfolding at every turn. Yet amid the carnage, Prince Racing’s Car #66 and Car #99 showed remarkable composure and resilience, bringing home vital points for the championship.
Piloted by Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim and Jordan Love, Car #66 battled through the madness to finish P5 in the fiercely competitive Pro-Am class, and P9 overall. The duo clocked a best lap of 1:29.776 and crossed the line +25.485 seconds behind the race winner, putting in a calculated, mature drive that stood out amidst the race’s unpredictability.
Meanwhile, Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Ben Green in Car #99 showed grit and consistency, securing P9 in Pro-Am and P13 overall, with a best lap time of 1:29.774. Finishing just +32.220 seconds off the leader, the pair navigated the incident-packed race with poise, avoiding costly errors and capitalizing on every opportunity.
Most importantly, both cars finished without incident – a feat in itself given the race’s high attrition rate – and bagged valuable championship points. With the team’s strategy and driver performance clicking under pressure, Prince Racing now turns its focus to Race 4, where momentum and confidence are firmly on their side.
