The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced that it has decided on Qatar. Hosted the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 from the 5/2022 meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Following a comprehensive Bid Evaluation process as well as the overall risk assessment on the key deliverables outlined in the subsequent report, Qatar – who will be hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 in November this year – was selected by the Committee from among the five bidders, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan.
Qatar has hosted the event once in 2016 and has been the best at the event. by winning 3rd place in 2018
And for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024, there will be a qualifying round for the men’s football team. at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. in which Asia will receive a quota of 3 teams from a total of 16 teams.
