Ruventhiran Vengadesan, Left-back Malaysian age,21 has moved to join Selangor FC in Liga Super Malaysia 2023 season after leaving out from PJ City at the end of last season.
Ruven, who describes himself as a hard-working player, broke into the Super League competition and began his professional career two years ago with the main team of PJ City FC, where he made 41 appearances and recorded two goals and three assists.
The left-footed player’s best year continued in 2022 when he was called up to take part in the AFF U23 Championship in Cambodia until recently managed to slot his name in the final list of the Malaysia national team for the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 after performing brilliantly throughout the season including in Tier 1 International Matches two weeks ago.
“I have played with the President and Selangor Youth teams before, so returning to Selangor FC is not something new for me but I am happy to wear this team’s jersey again. I really want to play with Selangor FC’s main team because I believe Selangor is a big team with amazing supporters. I’m ready to play and give everything for the team,” said. by Ruven during an interview with the Selangor FC Media team.
