The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) proudly announces the return of Rosman Razak as the Head Coach of the Women’s Doubles department.
With his vast experience and strategic insight, Rosman is set to officially begin his duties on 5 November 2024 at the PETRONAS Akademi Badminton Malaysia (ABM) in Bukit Kiara.
Rosman Razak, a highly respected figure in Malaysian badminton, has nearly two decades of coaching experience with the national doubles team. His return to BAM is seen as a significant boost to the women’s doubles division, which has shown promise but is poised for greater achievements under his leadership.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rosman back into the coaching team,” stated Rexy Mainaky, Director of Coaching at BAM. “His years of experience and track record of success are invaluable, and we are confident that his leadership will propel the women’s doubles squad to new heights.”
Rosman will be collaborating closely with Rexy, alongside senior team coach Ching Kai Feng and junior team coach Amelia Anscelly, as they focus on strengthening the women’s doubles program. The coaching team is determined to build on the squad’s recent progress and establish Malaysia as a formidable force in women’s doubles badminton.
Upon his return, Rosman expressed his excitement and readiness for the challenge ahead. “I am honored to be back at BAM and eager to contribute to the national team once again. The women’s doubles department has immense potential, and I look forward to helping them achieve greater success,” he said.
Rosman’s reappointment comes at a critical time as Malaysia prepares for key international tournaments in 2025, and his expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the national team.
