Malaysian Football League (MFL) together with the global sports brand PUMA and its sponsor partner – ACTIVE SPORTS today launched the official ball for the 2023 Malaysia League competition involving the Piala Sumbangsih Match (Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup), Liga Super, Piala Malaysia, Piala FA, MFL Challenge Cup, and Piala MFL.
After the PUMA MFL Accelerate 21.1 Pro became the official ball in the 2022 competition and a special edition ball in conjunction with the 100-year TM Malaysia Cup competition in 2021, the excitement of the Malaysia League 2023 action will continue with the use of the PUMA Orbita MFL 1 as the official ball.
The use of the PUMA Orbita MFL 1 as the official ball has made the Malaysian League follow in the footsteps of two of the world’s leading leagues, namely LaLiga in Spain and Serie A in Italy in addition to EFL matches including the Sky Bet Championship, League One, League Two, Carabao Cup and Papa John’s Trophy.
PUMA Orbita MFL 1 will help every player to perform at their best on the field as the sport of football is constantly changing on the international stage.
This special edition ball is produced through modern technology where it is designed through high frequency for excellent shape retention, durability and reduced water absorption.
The unique 12-panel configuration reduces the number of stitches resulting in larger panels for better connection with the ball.
A 1.2mm 3D textured PU surface integrated for aerodynamic purposes can increase durability while POE foam can increase sensitivity, providing a firmer touch and better bounce consistency.
The selection of ‘rubber bladder’ used as well as the PAL ( Puma Air Lock ) technology provides a lot of additional quality when the ball is in the air and a balanced bounce.
A large PUMA logo can also be seen on the surface of the ball along with the MFL logo. The PUMA Orbita MFL 1 ball is available exclusively at ACTIVE SPORTS and selected PUMA stores for a price of RM579.
