Before, PJ City have rumors will not participate in Liga Super Malaysia 2023 after being unclear about a new contract with players in the club. until the player decided to find a new club in the next season.
Today, at QNet HQ at QI Tower, Petaling Jaya, Dato’ Sri Subahan Kamal, President of PJ City informed us in the Press Conference about the club’s direction after various rumors recently appeared on social media.
He also informed them that the financial position is not a problem because they have been involved in the sports industry for a long time in various types of sports in Malaysia.
Nevertheless, he is confident that there are many ways for Qnet to contribute in the development of Malaysian football while taking into account the club’s journey in the future.
The addition of imported players will complicate the situation, especially for PJ City who are down completely depending on the quality of local players. And the club management is very proud to be able to contribute when some players now get a place in the national team.
However, PJ City is also open to any party that wants to take over the team after the management has other plans for the next season.
