Paulo Josue, team captain of Kuala Lumpur City called on his teammates to forget about the performance crisis and focus fully on the Piala FA Malaysia 2023 final action against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) this Saturday.
Kuala Lumpur City failed to win any of the last four games in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 and the last time they won three points when they beat Sri Pahang on 4 June 2023.
“We have faced difficult matches in the last few matches and dropped a lot of points, especially when we met Terengganu FC and Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) recently,” Paulo said.
“However, I am not too worried because the players are aware that the match against JDT is a different action and this is the final stage. We need to be ready as soon as possible,”
“For now we can only hope for the best. It is true that it is not an easy task to achieve positive results in Johor, but I hope all the players can give 100% later,”
