Kuching City officially booked their ticket to the FA Cup semi-finals after comfortably dismantling Liga A1 Semi-Pro side Kelantan City 4-1 at the Taha Ariffin Stadium on Saturday.

The dominant home victory crushed any hopes of a giant-killing, allowing The Cats to cruise through with a definitive 5-1 aggregate win.

Head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak pulled no punches, deploying a formidable attacking frontline led by Safawi Rasid and Bosnian hitman Ajdin Mujagic. The aggressive setup paid dividends almost immediately.

Japanese import Yuki Tanigawa ignited the home crowd in the 11th minute, powering a header across the line to draw first blood. Just eight minutes later, Mujagic doubled the lead, easily tapping past Kelantan goalkeeper Fikri Che Soh off a pinpoint cross from Joao Pedro.

Kelantan City briefly threatened a comeback before the break when Hadin Azman unleashed a spectacular long-range strike that beat Kuching custodian Shahril Shaari, narrowing the deficit to 2-1.

However, the second half belonged entirely to Kuching City's Bosnian talisman. Mujagic took total control of the match, finding the back of the net in the 67th and 81st minutes to complete a flawless personal hat-trick and put the tie completely out of reach for the visitors.

With their semi-final slot now secured, Kuching City awaits a massive showdown against the winner of Sunday's heavyweight clash between Selangor and Star City.
