Nur Dhabitah Sabri, the Malaysian diver, successfully reached the semi-finals after finishing 12th in the qualifying rounds of the 3-meter springboard event Olympic 2024.
Dhabitah collected 283.65 points after five dives and will compete tomorrow to claim a place in the top 10 of 18 divers.
Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Chen Yiwen of China led the qualifiers with a record of 356.40 points. Australian diver Keeney Maddison secured second place with 337.5 points, while Mexico’s Vazquez Montano Aranza was third with 321.75 points.
The semi-final event will take place at the Saint-Denis Aquatics Center starting at 4 pm (Malaysian time) to determine the 10 best divers for the final.
