Malaysian Football League (MFL) confirmed that only three teams from the Liga M3 had successfully submitted applications until the deadline for extraordinary licenses to join the Liga Super Malaysia season 2024/25.
Previously, the MFL gave the M3 League team the opportunity to resubmit an extraordinary license application to participate in the Liga Super Malaysia season 2024/25.
In this case, Datuk Stuart Ramalingam, CEO of MFL, explained that the top three teams in the Liga M3 2023 are Immigresen FC, KL Rovers, and Harini Selangor FT.
In addition, MFL confirmed that it had not invited any teams, including Perlis United FC, to join the Liga Super Malaysia for the new season.
“The three teams involved submitted applications until the deadline. But Perlis United requested an additional period and submitted documents to the MFL at the beginning of this week.” CEO MFL said.
“Now the decision is in the hands of the First Instance Body (FIB) to examine and accept all the documents that have been submitted,”
