Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar(Head of state) Johor announced for 23 July 2023 is a ‘Special holiday’ for Johor Darul Ta’Zim after retaining champions Piala FA Malaysia 2023.
“Upholding the order of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan Yang DiPertuan For the State and Colony of Johor Darul Ta’zim, the Johor State Government hereby decides to declare Sunday, 23 July 2023, as a Public Holiday for all the people of the State of Johor in conjunction with the success of the Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) team in winning the Piala FA Malaysia 2023.” Datuk Onn Hafiz said.
“Honoring His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Crown Prince of Johor for all the planning and continuous efforts in developing JDT into a respected football club in Malaysia and in the Asian region.”
