Malaysia U23 national team has decided to call Nik Umar Aziz, centre-back age,22 from Perak FC to join the team in campaign AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers Group H to replace Haqimi Azim Rosli, a forward from Kuala Lumpur City due to injury.
Previously, Nik Umar Aziz had a name on the Ready List in the first announced squad before he was called up by E. Elavarasan, head coach of the Malaysia U23 national team.
Nik Umar Aziz has played 4 matches for Perak FC in Liga Super Malaysia 2023, and 5 matches for Perak FC II in Piala MFL 2023.
