Malaysia national futsal team can’t get a victory in all three matches after losing to Australia scoring 3-4 in the NSDF Futsal Championship 2024 Matchday 3 at Nonthaburi PAO Gymnasium.
In this match, in the beginning game Malaysia is the side open to attack Australia and got opportunities to find the goal.
In the 14th minute, following a mistake of defender Australia and Mohd Ridzwan’s shot into the goal, Malaysia led 1-0.
Not long time, in the 16th minute, Malaysia got the opportunity again, and Syahir Iqbal Khan charged it; Malaysia led 2-0.
In the remaining time of the first half, there was no additional score, ending the first half with Malaysia leading 2-0.
In the second half, Malaysia was still open to attack and finding opportunities.
But in the 29th minute, Australia made a fast break, and Dominic Cox shot into the box, and Shervin Adeli shot into the goal; Australia followed 1-2.
In the 31st minute, Australia got a free-kick, and Adam Cooper shot from outside the box to the Goal, Australia’s equalizer 2-2.
In the 37th minute, Malaysia started to use Syahir Iqbal Khan as powerplay, but in the same minute, Ethan De Melo made a far shot to the goal, and Australia led 3-2
And in the 38th minute, following a ball from goalkeeper Noah Fellich threw Shervin Adeli’s charge in close range to the goal, Australia led 4-2.
In the last minute, Malaysia used powerplay again, and Syahir Iqbal Khan got the important goal. Malaysia following 3-4
The remaining time of the second half had no additional score, ending Australia’s win 4-3.
Malaysia will play the third-place match on 28 March.
