Luqman Hakim Shamsudin has officially joined Negeri Sembilan FC, marking a significant return to home soil after five years of honing his craft abroad.
Born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, the 170cm-tall striker is determined to reignite his career with the Jangs as he enters a crucial phase of his development at just 23 years old.
Luqman first rose to prominence in 2019 when he secured a historic move to KV Kortrijk in Belgium, becoming one of Malaysia’s most high-profile exports to Europe. During his time with the Belgian club, he gained valuable international experience and furthered his development with loan stints at Njardvik FC (Iceland) in 2023 and Yokohama SCC (Japan) in 2024.
Now, the talented forward is ready to bring that international exposure back to the Malaysian Super League, donning the Negeri Sembilan colours with ambition and purpose.
This move marks a fresh chapter for Luqman as he looks to reignite the fire that once made him one of Malaysia’s brightest young stars. Negeri Sembilan FC, known for its emphasis on youth development and attacking football, could be the perfect stage for Luqman to flourish once more.
