Mohd Isa Che Ariffin, President of Terengganu FC emphasized that the insipid action shown by Liridon Krasniqi, a midfield player in the Piala FA Malaysia 2023 semi-final in last Sunday deserved to be ‘punished’ by resting him.

“We were very disappointed with the quality of the performance of the player (Liridon) who was seen as not aggressive enough to attack and made many mistakes during the 120 minutes of play during the FA Cup semi-final action last Sunday.” Mohd Isa said.
“Increasing our anger even more after he failed to complete a penalty kick when kicking weakly besides he was so emotional during action that he was shown a yellow card in that important match.”
“If you look at his current achievements, he is not an important player in the team, the proof is when TFC faced JDT in the previous league competition, the team’s style of play was interesting and of good quality without Mat Don.”
“So we hasten Tommy (Steinbruckner) to punish this player by stopping him from playing against Kedah next week because we don’t want to see slow performances by these players which can ‘kill’ the team’s style of play,”
