Lim Teong Kim, head coach of Perak FC is not satisfied with the quality of the referees after his team was eliminated from Piala FA Malaysia 2023 after losing to Sri Pahang FC 1-2 in the play-off stage last night.
Fadhil Idris was shown a red card after fouling Kpah Sherman in the penalty area. This decision was tried to be protested by the Perak players but the referee stood by his stance.
Lim Teong Kim was clearly not satisfied with the quality of the court but he did not want to make excessive comments because he refused to be punished by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
This season, Perak FC is the team most shown red cards after having 3 red cards (Liga Super 2, and Piala FA 1). such as Fadhil Idris, Haziq Puad, and Christian Obiozor.
“I am disappointed with the (referee’s) decision today. I can’t talk to the match official, because if I do, I get fined too. So, it’s better not to talk. What do you want to do,” said the Perak head coach in a press conference after the match.” LTK said in press conference.
