Sri Pahang FC, make a first win match of the season after against Penang FC, with a score of 3-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2022 at Stadium Darul Makmur, Kuantan.
Despite a series of exciting opportunities in front of goal, Sri Pahang was only able to tie 1-1 in the first half which saw a solid explosion of Tok Gajah midfielder, Nor Azam Azih, in the 28th minute was extinguished by Sukri Hamid’s kick in the first half injury time.
However, Pahang came from the replacement of Sean Giannelli and Baqiuddin Shamsudin.
Baqiuddin’s first touch on the left wing was finally headed in by David Rowley in the 65th minute.
Due to the chaotic atmosphere above the goal line, Harimau Kumbang goalkeeper, Khatul Anuar Jalil, had to be removed and replaced by Hafizul Hakim Khairul Nizam Jothy.
The fort of Tomas Trucha’s squad collapsed again and this time Sean Giannelli welcomed Nor Azam’s pass on the right for his team’s third goal in the 73rd minute.
At the end of the game, there were no further moments. Full time, Sri Pahang FC won 3-1 and won their first match of the season.
