Selangor FC keep 1 point in their home after tied Sabah FC scoring 0-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya.
Both teams entered the match eager for three points—Selangor aiming to strengthen their hold on second place, while third-placed Sabah looked to close the gap.
The first half saw both sides evenly matched, each registering four shots on target. However, outstanding performances from goalkeepers Kalamullah Al-Hafiz and Khairul Fahmi Che Mat ensured the score remained level.
The decisive moment nearly arrived in the 76th minute when Sabah earned a penalty after Saddil Ramdani was brought down in the box. Darren Lok stepped up, but Kalamullah pulled off a crucial save to deny the visitors the lead.
Despite late efforts from both teams, the deadlock remained, and the match ended with a share of the spoils.
Selangor stays second in the league with 43 points, while Sabah remains in third with 35 points. Next, Sabah will take on Terengganu on March 7, while Selangor faces Kuching City on March 16.
