Selangor FC kept just one point in this match after tying with PDRM FC scoring 1-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at MPS Stadium, Selayang.
Fresh off victories against Cebu and Terengganu, Selangor entered the match with high confidence. Coach Nidzam Jamil fielded key players like Roni Fernandez, Alvin Fortes, and Noor Al-Rawabdeh to tackle PDRM’s challenge.
On the opposing side, PDRM countered with Bruno Suzuki, Fadi Awad, and Ifedayo Olosegun, aiming to break through Selangor’s defense.
The first half saw both teams carefully probing each other’s defense, but it was Selangor who struck first. Alvin Fortes’ header found the back of the net in the 16th minute, putting the visitors ahead. The score remained 1-0 as both sides headed into halftime.
In the second half, Selangor sought to extend their lead, but their efforts were thwarted by a resilient PDRM defense. Despite Selangor’s dominance, they were unable to convert their chances into goals.
Just as Selangor appeared poised to claim all three points, PDRM’s Aremu Timothy scored a dramatic equalizer in stoppage time, leveling the match at 1-1.
The draw leaves both teams with one point each. Selangor will face Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on October 27, while PDRM prepares to take on Kedah Darul Aman on October 25.
