Selangor FC clinched all 6 points in 2 matches after beating Negeri Sembilan FC scoring 4-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya.
Selangor, who tried hard to get an early goal, however failed to break the deadlock in the first half despite having several chances.
The goal that the Red Giants were looking for finally materialized in the 57th minute through Ronnie Fernandez’s shot after receiving a pass from Noor Al-Rawabdeh.
This goal clearly gave encouragement to the hosts as they doubled their goal, 11 minutes later after a powerful shot, Yohandry Orozco managed to beat Negeri Sembilan goalkeeper Muhamad Aqil Abdul Razak for the second time.
Orozco continued to put Nidzam Jamil’s squad in a comfortable state when they scored the third goal in the 75th minute, before substitute Reziq Bani Hani completed Gergasi Merah’s brilliant night by contributing the fourth goal after injury.
The victory saw Selangor, who were also last season’s Super League runners-up, collect six points after three matches.
