Selangor FC shows a big victory after beating Kelantan FC with a score of 11-2 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 at Sultan Muhammad IV, Kota Bharu.
First, Selangor trailed 0-2 in the first minute of the match through Natanael Siringo Ringo’s penalty kick in the fifth minute.
Ringo then got past the Selangor defense, Sharul Nazeem for a neat delivery to Mohamad Fazrul Amir who scored a half volley for Kelantan’s second goal in the 13th minute.
Kelantan’s joy was not long in coming when the visitors drew level with the first goal through Yohandry Jose Oronzo Cujia’s easy header in the 27th minute.
Sharul Nazeem made amends for an early mistake by gifting the equalizer in the 32nd minute.
Without a dozen, Selangor attacked the Red Kijang camp with the net of their sensational three striker, Ayron Del Valle Rodriguez in the 41st minute.
Del Valle continued to be a thorn in Kelantan’s side when he scored the goal of the four visitors just three minutes later.
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom managed to tear Kelantan’s net three minutes into the second half for Selangor’s fifth goal.
The travelling contest included Faisal Abd Halim, who had previously been suspended from the match, winning when he scored two goals with a solo run in the 50th minute, and the ball bounced hard against Kelantan three minutes later for Selangor’s sixth and seventh goals.
In the 63rd minute, Del Valle doubled the net for the eighth goal with a thunderous cross in the penalty area allowing Selangor to celebrate.
The ninth and 10th goals each came for Boakye who easily headed home the ball in the 78th minute before scoring a hat-trick in the 86th minute.
Del Valle scored his fourth goal for the 11th time visitors went on to seal the win.
