Perak FC earned 3 points after beating Kelantan Darul Naim scoring 7-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Stadium MPM, Manjung.
The emphatic win showcased the clinical finishing of the Bos Gaurus squad, led by a stunning four-goal haul from Brazilian striker Clayton Da Silva.
Perak wasted no time asserting their dominance, taking the lead in the 8th minute. A costly passing error by KDN gifted Da Silva the opening goal, setting the stage for a goal fest.
Six minutes later, Luciano Guaycochea doubled the advantage with a beautifully executed free kick. The relentless attack continued as Kyrgyz import Adilet Kanybekov slotted home Perak’s third in the 24th minute, leaving the visitors shell-shocked.
After the break, Perak picked up where they left off. Da Silva made it 4-0 in the 56th minute, finishing off a precise pass from Farris Izdiham Awang Kechik. Just six minutes later, the Brazilian completed his hat-trick, underlining his sharpness in front of goal.
The floodgates remained open as Perak added their sixth in the 69th minute. A well-placed corner by Tommy Mawat Bada deflected off a KDN player and into the net, compounding the visitors’ misery.
Da Silva put the icing on the cake in injury time, scoring his fourth goal and Perak’s seventh to cap off a sensational night.
The resounding victory propelled Perak FC three spots up to fifth place in the league standings with 22 points from 18 matches. Meanwhile, Kelantan Darul Naim remain entrenched at the bottom with just seven points, struggling to find form in a challenging season.
