PDRM FC has broken a record win consecutive after tying with Johor Darul Ta’Zim scoring 1-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Stadium MPS, Selayang.
PDRM FC became the first team to successfully prevent JDT from collecting full points after seven consecutive league matches. The team defended robustly to thwart JDT’s attempts at goal and stunned the visitors by scoring first. Shahrel Fikri Md Fauzi netted the opening goal in the 22nd minute.
JDT responded quickly, equalizing just 10 minutes later with a goal from Oscar Arribas in the 32nd minute. In the second half, JDT maintained their offensive pressure. However, the crossbar denied them a second goal in the 62nd minute when Juan Muniz’s free kick hit the bar.
Despite creating several opportunities, JDT could not break through PDRM FC’s solid defense, ensuring the match ended in a draw.
PDRM FC will next face Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC), while JDT will host Kedah Darul Aman (KDA) FC in the second semi-final of the FA Cup this Sunday.
