B. Sathianathan, Malaysian coach age,64 decided to resign as the head coach of Sarawak United due to serious health problems.
Recently, he also confirmed that he is undergoing treatment and needs to take a break from performing duties on the field after being advised by a medical officer.
“Sarawak United FC (SUFC) is saddened to announce the resignation of Head Coach, Coach B. Sathiananthan due to health factors he is facing where he also needs special observation and follow-up treatment from specialists.” Sarawak United said in club statement.
The management of SUFC would like to thank and appreciate Coach B. Satiananthan for his service and devotion to SUFC over the years.”
“In continuing the Super League struggle this season, SUFC has appointed a new Head Coach, Coach S. Balachandran effective immediately.”
This decision was taken by the SUFC management together with the President, Dato Posa Majais to continue their progress in the league. May SUFC wake up from the revival with a new spirit.”
The Sarawak United team will currently be led by former Malaysia national team assistant coach, S. Balachandran.
