Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei, Malaysian Mixed doubles, created a new history when they won the championship at the BWF Korea Open 2024 at Mokpo Indoor Stadium, Mokpo.
Their remarkable comeback against the Chinese duo Guo Xin Wa and Li Qian, winning 2-1 (17-21, 21-13, 21-13) in 58 minutes, demonstrates their skill and determination.
This win is particularly meaningful as it marks the first time they have won a title at a Super 500-level tournament. Previously, they had success at the Super 300 level, capturing titles at the Orleans Masters and the Taiwan Open.
