Kim Pan-Gon, head coach of Malaysia national team considers Malaysia to be on par with the world’s best 100 teams after tied with Syria 2-2 in the International Friendly ‘A’ match in Chengdu, China.
“In general, our achievements were rather good in the first half of the period. We were on par with the world’s 94th ranking team.” Pan-Gon said.
“I think there were two mistakes that punished us, but in the second half, we showed the resilience and attitude of Malaysia, who were able to retake the game and provide resistance until the end,”
“Now we want to test several tactical methods and feel the strength of a team ranked 80th in the world. We want to know our position, so we will continue to attack them, we need to play aggressively and provide challenges. We need to do our best to attack and try to win,”
Malaysia national team has remained 1 match against the China national team on 9 September at 7.35 pm. at Pheonix Hill Football Stadium, Chengdu.
