Asian Football Confederation(AFC) banned Hazza Ali, a left-back from the Bahrain national team, due to testing positive doping banned substances.
Hazza Ali played all 90 minutes in the match, losing to Korea Republic 1-3, and played 79 minutes in the match, win Malaysia 1-0
After it ended in a match against the Korean Republic national team, Hazza was called by medical for testing for doping control, and the results were positive for a banned substance.
However, AFC has not confirmed what the substance is but has said the player will be provisionally suspended until the counter-analysis is completed. That’s means Hazza Ali will miss to play for Bahrain in a match against Japan national team in the round of 16.
