Kelantan Red Warrior FC have received a major boost after FIFA officially lifted the club’s transfer ban, bringing an end to months of uncertainty surrounding player registrations.
In a confirmation letter dated 22 January 2026, FIFA informed the club that the transfer restriction imposed on 19 December 2025 has been fully and permanently revoked.
According to FIFA, the decision was made after no response was received from Pol Corpas Cuatrecasa regarding the claim that led to the case. As a result, the governing body confirmed that all ongoing proceedings involving Kelantan Red Warrior FC have been closed, and the ban on registering new players has been lifted indefinitely.
Kelantan Red Warrior FC’s management stressed that the issue should never have been directed at the club, as they were not directly involved in the disputed matter. Nevertheless, the situation had significantly disrupted club operations, particularly player registration processes, during a crucial phase of the season.
With the second transfer window now open, the confirmation clears the way for Kelantan Red Warrior FC to register new players as they prepare for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
The lifting of the ban is expected to provide timely relief for the Red Warriors, allowing them to strengthen their squad and refocus fully on their on-field ambitions for the rest of the season.
