Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has confirmed that it is still awaiting the official full judgment documents from the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) before initiating the appeal process regarding the recent sanctions imposed by the world football governing body.
In an official statement released today, FAM explained that while the association remains fully committed to addressing the issue through proper legal channels, the appeal can only proceed once the full written decision is received from FIFA.
“The appeal process can only begin once the complete judgment documents have been officially received,” said Datuk Noor Azman Haji Rahman, General Secretary of FAM.
The statement further clarified that FAM’s legal team has already prepared to take all necessary follow-up actions immediately upon obtaining the relevant documents. Once the full decision is in hand, the legal team will submit a formal appeal supported by strong and comprehensive documentation.
“FAM’s legal representatives are ready to act swiftly once the documents are available. The appeal will be filed together with solid supporting materials,” Datuk Noor Azman added.
The announcement comes amid ongoing attention surrounding FIFA’s disciplinary decision involving Malaysia, as fans and stakeholders await further clarification on the federation’s next steps.
