Selangor FC winger Faisal Halim has been confirmed to have suffered a nasal bone fracture during the final match of the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 season.
According to a specialist from the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) department, Faisal was diagnosed with a “fractured nasal bone with mucosa laceration.” Despite the injury, doctors have assured that it poses no significant risk to his ability to continue playing on the pitch.
Faisal will undergo conservative treatment and will be closely monitored with thorough medical evaluations in the coming days to ensure a smooth recovery.
The Selangor FC management issued a statement offering full support to their star winger:
“We wish Faisal Halim a speedy recovery. Stay strong, Mickey!”
Nicknamed “Mickey” by fans and teammates, the national winger has been an instrumental figure for both Selangor FC and Harimau Malaya, and his availability moving forward will be a significant boost for the team’s preparations ahead of upcoming domestic and international campaigns.
