Faisal Halim, forwarder Malaysia national team has left from Terengganu FC and move to join Selangor FC in Liga Super Malaysia 2023.
The following year, Faisal made a big decision to migrate from his country of birth and spread his wings with the Sri Pahang FC main team starting in 2016. He continued to be one of the key players who helped the team to lift the FA Cup 2018. In five years with the team, Faisal made 79 appearances, ten goals, and four assists for his personal record.
The player who was born in 1998 continued to be edited by Terengganu FC for two years. Continuing to make an impact, he became the main pillar of Terengganu emerging as the runner-up in the Liga Super Malaysia this season. His performance is seen to continue to rise when he managed to score 27 goals and 42 ‘assists’ in 101 games during his time with Terengganu.
His peak performance allowed this cunning player to get a call-up to the Malaysia national team’s main squad for the first time in 2019 and become a ‘regular’ player until now and has been appointed as one of the captains of the national team.
Wanting to be an important character in the team, Faisal is confident that he can give his best to strengthen the attacking machinery of the Selangor team for the 2023 season because his dream of being with this club has finally come true.
“Selangor FC is a big team, everyone knows and wants to play for this club. Alhamdulillah, I have arrived at the Red Giants site because this is what I have been waiting for.” Faisal expressed his desire with Media Selangor FC.
“I am confident that I can put on a good performance and make a difference for Selangor FC. My goal is to at least make Merah Kuning a team to be feared and I promise to give my best to implement it,”
