Daniel Ting, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) defender finally thanked his old club, Kuala Lumpur City after the move was completed during the second transfer window of the Malaysia League.
Daniel expressed his gratitude through his Instagram social media page where he uploaded a picture showing him in action and the 30-year-old also stated that he was proud to have won a trophy with the capital’s squad last season.
“It’s long overdue but to all the Kuala Lumpur City fans last season, thank you! A great season and I’m proud to be a part of it,” said Daniel.
The post also got the attention of Daniel’s teammate at JDT, Guilherme De Paula, where the naturalized player asked Daniel to delete the post because he is now playing with JDT.
So far, Daniel Ting has played a lot with the feeder team JDT II in the Liga Premier Malaysia and he helped the team bring home a point when they faced Kelantan FC in Kota Bharu last week.
La’Vere Corbin-Ong is still head coach Benjamin Mora’s choice to play with the first team and Daniel still has time to excel with the development squad and grab a place in the first team.
